How much protein should we be eating?

The recommended intake for an active individual would be 1g of protein per kg of weight.  For example, if you weigh 65 kg, you should be eating aboug 65 g of protein per day.  A can of tuna has approximately 20g of protein and 100g of chicken, steak or fish contains 30 g of protein. 
 
It is essential to get enough protein every day as it plays a vital role in maintaining physical and mental health
